Employment Insurance Board of Appeal of Canada
The Employment Insurance Board of Appeal (EI BOA) renders decisions on first-level appeals related to Employment Insurance (EI) benefits eligibility while serving the interests of both, workers and employers who contribute to the EI system.
The EI BOA is an independent and impartial administrative tribunal, composed of three-member panels, each consisting of a representative from the government, employers, and workers communities, that make decisions on EI appeals for Canadians nationwide.
